The Economics Explorer is an annual, online national competition in Malaysia for primary, secondary, and pre-university students. It introduces key concepts in economics, entrepreneurship, financial literacy, and business. Through multiple-choice questions, students apply their knowledge to real-world economic and financial situations, both locally and globally. The competition is designed by experts to build understanding, critical thinking, and interest in economics, with the following objectives:

1. To develop students’ potential in economics and financial literacy.
2. To raise awareness of the importance of financial literacy in daily life.
3. To provide opportunities for students to apply economic and financial knowledge in real-world contexts.
4. To strengthen higher-order thinking skills (HOTS) for future challenges.
5. To encourage the practical use of economic knowledge to address real-world and national issues.
